You can now record which material lots were used in batches and samples, even if you don’t use CM Studio+ to manage your inventory.

Add manual lot references and quantities for each ingredient. The total appears as the amount added, and the references are included in the batch record and tickets. Manual lot entries do not affect inventory stock.

• Record actual dates and times for mixing, QC, filling, and batch completion. If you need to correct a date, provide a reason and keep a record of the change.
• When rejecting a batch, record the reason and time, review any material or packaging usage entered, and release outstanding reservations. The batch history records the rejection and its inventory outcome.
• Record actual mixing and completion times for samples, with date validation and a history of corrections.

• Faster raw material search by name, INCI, CAS number, and RM ID, with more relevant results.
• New grouped filters for material properties, applications, claims, certifications, and country of origin.

• Live costing: Estimate costs while editing or reviewing formulas. Set your batch size and cost target, choose a pack selection strategy, and see material used cost, leftover cost, and total purchase spend.
• Custom pack sizes: Add your organization’s pack sizes and private prices to global ingredients. Choose which price sources to use, and view or add pack prices without leaving the formula.

Your progress is saved, so you can pause and pick up where you left off.

Connect with other formulators to offer surplus raw materials, find ingredients you need, and team up to meet supplier minimum order quantities (MOQs). Create “Have extra,” “Looking for,” or “MOQ buddy” listings, browse by material and location, and coordinate through private messages and participation requests. Keep your listings within the community or make them public for wider sharing.
