CM Studio+ started inside a working contract manufacturer. We formulated, batched, tested, sourced, and shipped real products every day, and every day we fought the same fragmented stack: one tool for formulation, another for ingredient search, another for compliance, spreadsheets holding it all together.
So we built the platform we wished existed: formulation, raw material search, compliance intelligence, and an ingredients marketplace in one place, connected the way an actual lab and production workflow is connected.
Everything in the product exists because someone on our team needed it to do their job. That's still how we decide what to build next, and why we ship improvements almost every week.

Why we do it this way
The formulation software market has trained everyone to accept expensive licenses, long contracts, and tools that don't talk to each other. We think that's backwards.
Our base platform is free because we'd rather win on product than on lock-in. Your data exports as easily as it imports, your IP stays yours, and if we stop earning your business you can leave, we just don't think you'll want to.

How we work
We come from manufacturing, formulation, and fulfillment. If a feature wouldn't survive a real production day, it doesn't ship.
